CHANCE is a free tutoring service provided to all Durham middle and high school students. CHANCE meets every week on Tuesday nights from 7-9 in the West Duke Building on Duke University's East Campus. CHANCE pairs Duke students with pre-collegiate students during tutoring sessions. Tutors have the opportunity to work with the same group of students throughout the semester and build relationships that promote academic excellence. Tutors assist students with their SAT preparation, PSAT practice, and school assignments. CHANCE hopes to build partnerships with Durham middle and high schools and the surrounding community.
