The purpose of Duke Africa is to provide an organization through which African
students on campus, as well as other interested students can some together to
celebrate African culture; to spread awareness about Africa?s diverse history
and culture to the larger Duke population; to provide community service in the
Durham area, as well as aid to establishments and communities in Africa.

The association will also serve as an educational resource about Africa in terms
of exploring what role Africa can play in the global community of the 21st
century.
