DIRA is an organization composed of students interested in international issues. Members of this organization organize and staff an annual 4 day Model United Nations conference for high school students in February. Members also have the opportunity to represent Duke at collegiate Model UN Conferences held all across the nation. Members also host a three day long crisis simulation for college students in the Sanford Institute of Public Policy. Finally, DIRA is committed to spreading knowledge of international relations to the student body by sponsoring speakers, film screenings and other events.
