To those of you who are not familiar with Discover Worlds at Duke, we are a student group that is part of an effort to form a sustainable relationship with Orphans of Rwanda.

"Founded in 2004, Orphans of Rwanda, Inc. (ORI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting orphans and vulnerable young people in Rwanda who have been affected by the 1994 genocide and diseases such as HIV/AIDS and malaria. ORI’s principal missionis financing university education and related training for young people who, against tremendous odds, have completed secondary school and scored highly on university entrance examinations."

Wether we are working solely in the Duke community or extending our efforts to the local High Schools, our mission is to raise funds and establish real relationships with the students of ORI.
