Since 1975, the Iota Mu Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. has built a rich legacy of sisterhood, scholarship, and “Service to All Mankind.” We strive to promote cultural awareness, maintain high scholastic and ethical standards, enrich the social and intellectual aspects of life on campus, and implement programs that benefit the Duke and Durham communities. Iota Mu members are diverse in every way, yet we share a love of our community, commitment to service, and dedication to our sisterhood. We value collaboration, and work with various organizations at Duke and in the surrounding communities to achieve our goals.
